Department of Information Science and Engineering

The department facilities are spread over 7000 Sq. meters. The department houses well-furnished Software labs with sufficient power backup and latest computing facilities. The department also has equipped the Hardware laboratories with modern facilities 

The department has 2 Mbps leased line Internet Access 

Algorithm Lab :  Twenty high end systems loaded with Linux operating system is confirmed for running OOPs lab & ADA Lab, DSC Lab as prescribed by university. It accommodates 40 to 42 students.

Network Lab: This lab having 20 Wipro System working in Linux operating system has been confirmed with NCTUNS 2.0 software for network simulation lab. In this we have another 20 Wipro system where students work on oracle & visual Basic

Internet Technologies Lab : A dedicated lab for developing & working on web technologies by using HTML. Java, CGI, Perl, Servlets, Apache Tomcat server is installed, which is application software for web applications.

Microprocessor lab : In this lab we have 22 systems where students work on 8086 assembly language programming. TASM is the assembler we are using. For hardware interface programming we have sufficient hardware peripherals like logic controller, 7-Segment Display, Steeper Motor, Elevator & DAC

Project Lab: A separate lab having 10 high end systems is set up for project work for 8th semester students. Where students work on different technologies on different projects assigned to them. 

Computer Center: Computer Concepts & C programming Lab for first year students. Where students will be made aware of basic computer concepts & C programming. Computer hardware parts are exhibited in the lab for students. Here students will also work on MSDOS, MS Word & its application.
