Department of Computer Science and Engineering

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in the year 2005 with the mission to educate students from all over India and other countries, including those from rural areas, so that they become enlightened individuals, improving the living standards of their Families, Industry and Society.

CSE shares the mission and vision of the institute in imparting high quality education to the students. First, it is ensured that the student perceives the computer fundamentals thoroughly. Besides fulfilling the requirements of the syllabus prescribed by the University, the program offers students the opportunity to work on diverse hardware and software platforms.

The Department is well equipped with diversified laboratories including a dedicated laboratory for Project work, installed with a variety of software catering to the need of the students and covering the curriculum specified by the affiliated University. The laboratories include Operating System and Networking Lab, Systems Programming Lab, Software Engineering Lab, Windows Programming Lab, Multimedia and Graphics Lab, Java Technology Lab, DBMS Lab I, Microprocessor Lab.

Unit Tests are conducted once in a month and the students are counseled and motivated to give in their best performance. Feedback is obtained regularly from the students. Staff are appraised by the students, self, Head of the Department and the Head of the Institution.

Department Long Term Goals: 

1. To improve the infrastructure and to achieve R&D activities in a full wing
2. Crafting a research center to facilitate the faculty members to pursue their higher studies leading to the doctoral degrees.
3. To establish a product development center.
4. To have laboratories set up by industries and software organizations to start consultancy.
5. To create an endowment fund to recognize and appreciate the services of faculty members and students Quality Objectives:

• To provide value added courses to enhance the knowledge of our students and in turn
• Make them to develop competency in global technical challenges.
• To organize students level seminars / technical paper presentation/ project exhibition to
• Explore hidden talents of our students.
• To setup and equip different laborites so as to meet both curriculum and Industry
• Requirements.
